Ruth O'Neill

On February 4, 2008, Ruth Edith O'Neill (nee Herche) passed on. She was dearly loved by her late husband of 33 years, Charles W. O'Neill; her loving children, Nancy Donaldson and her husband Michael, Charles O'Neill, Jr. and his wife Sue, and Patricia Renes and her husband Michael; her loving sister, Thelma Hood; and ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her dear brother, John Herche and her dear sisters, Catherine Dells, Dorothy Robosson and Charlotte Miller. Ruth was born in Maryland in 1924. She was a resident of Brooklyn Park for 58 years. She was an employee of Montgomery Wards for 35 years. During that career she did statistical and clerical work for the company. Ruth enjoyed many hobbies. She loved sewing and gardening roses. One of her favorite foods was steamed crabs. She loved doing family things. She was a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren.
