On August 19, 2018, Ruth M. Perry, 88, of Linthicum, passed away at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson. She was born on August 30, 1929, in Baltimore, to the late Eleanor and Walter Mathers. Ruth was a lifetime member and very involved in Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church
Ruth was predeceased by her devoted husband, Samuel A. Perry, Jr., her son, Ronald Perry, and her siblings, Frank Mathers, Thomas Mathers, William Mathers, Ethel Heil, and Thelma Mathchski. She is survived by her son, Samuel A. Perry, III; her two cherished grandchildren, Jean and John; and her two beloved great-grandchildren, Lilly and Penny.
Visitors will be received at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Thursday, August 23rd, from 11 AM to 1 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made to Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, 200 School Lane, Linthicum, MD 21090.
