Ruth Pieters

Mrs. Ruth E. Pieters, 84 of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away on January 17, 2010 at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Duncansville, PA in 1925. Mrs. Pieters was a baker in the cafeteria of Glen Dale Elementary School for 16 years. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music and studying history. She was the beloved wife of Johannes Pieters; devoted mother of Johannes "Hans" Pieters, Jr.; Pierre "Pete" Pieters and Philip Pieters M.D.; cherished mother-in-law to Circee Pieters, Nancy Pieters and Andrea Pieters; dear sister to Paul Williams and Edith Boulden, and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
