Ruth Reaver

Ruth Barbara Reaver was born on March 20, 1916 in Baltimore, MD to the late Harmon Rodolph Wheeler and Barbara Sabina Fischer Wheeler. She attended school in Baltimore and married Harvey David Reaver in 1935. Mrs. Reaver stayed home to raise her family and worked part-time for Metropolitan Bank as a Savings Bond Clerk.
She enjoyed playing the piano, polka dancing at Blobs Park in Jessup, MD and was a past member and organist of Ferndale Methodist Church. Before his passing, she and her husband enjoyed taking day trips together.
Mrs. Reaver is survived by her two children, Barbara Matti and William David Reaver; six grandchildren, Julie Marsh, Ruth Matti, April Haskell, Laura Carabella, Billy Jo Bishoff, and John Crawford; and many great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Harvey Reaver; four siblings, William Wheeler, Anna Matilda Miller, Clinton Wheeler and Howard Wheeler and two grandchildren, Terry Ringrose and Robin Crawford.
