Sara Mcmullen

On December 9, 2009, Sara L. McMullen, a resident of Ferndale for 58 years. Beloved wife of the late Ashby Richard McMullen, Sr.; cherished mother of Katherine L. McMullen; loving sister of Marguerite Hensley, Ethel Stockton, Forrest Workman, and Herbert Workman; caring sister-in-law of Shirley, Gladys, Marjorie, and Jean Workman. She was preceded in death by one son, Ashby Richard McMullen, III, and siblings, Robert, Herbert, Frank, Alvin, and Kenneth Workman, and Lillian White. Sara retired from Joseph E. Seagram & Sons in 1984. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, playing bingo, and going to flea markets.
