Sharon Lee Koontz Tomlinson, 65, of Pasadena completed her earthly journey on June 30, 2018 after a long and vigilant battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 18, 1952 to the late Carey Lee Koontz, Sr. and Patricia Edwina (Philburn) Koontz in Baltimore. She grew up in Laurel Acres in Pasadena. She attended Northeast High School and Beautician School. She was a teacher at Woods CDC, located in Severna Park for 29 years. She enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson, drawing, decorating, and anything that allowed her to utilize her artistic abilities.
She was preceded in death by her father, and husband George (Viking) Tomlinson. She leaves to cherish precious memories, three sons, Jon Curry(Pamela), Erik Curry(Mandy), and Scott Tomlinson; mother, Patricia Koontz; two brothers, Carey Koontz, Jr. and Scott Koontz; two sisters, Terri Sayers and Barbara Fondelheit; partner, Robert Marsh; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A 1 2nd Avenue SW (at Crain) Hwy. in Glen Burnie on Monday, July 9th, from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM with a memorial at 8:30 PM.
