Shirley Carr

On October 2, 2008, Shirley Lee Carr of Glen Burnie, MD. Beloved husband of 50 years to the late Esteline Carr. Devoted father of Michael Carr, Shelley Oliver and Susan Oliveri; loving grandfather of Jennifer Oliver, Melissa Oliver, Katelyn Oliver, David Oliveri and Jeffrey Carr; loving great-grandfather of Michael Oliver, II; and dear brother of Hilda Bender and Monnah Weese. He was born in Elkins, WV in 1924. During his career, he was employed by Sealtest Bakery for 20 years. He retired from Anne Arundel County Public Service where he was a Waste Water Plant Operator. He also worked part time with Associated Cab for 33 years. He had many hobbies and interests in life including gardening, carpentry and repair. He was a fan of both NASCAR and the Baltimore Orioles. He especially loved spending time and holidays with his family.
