On October 17, 2017, Shirley Johanna Mustin, 74, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation. Shirley was born on March 15, 1943, in Baltimore, to the late Dorothy and George Baumes. She worked as a van driver for First Transit up until she was 71. Shirley was a Girl Scout leader in the early 80's and she enjoyed traveling (especially cruises) and loved spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, William L. Mustin, Jr.; her loving children, William L. Mustin III, Timothy B. Mustin, and Johanna V. Weith; her cherished grandsons, Michael Mustin, William Mustin IV, and Joel Montgomery Jr.; and her dear siblings, Gordon Baumes, George Baumes, Catherine Seay, and Ruth Seay. She was predeceased by three siblings, Dorothy Leach, Lois Hendricks, and Norman Baumes.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Sunday, October 22nd, from 2-5 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 23rd, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley's name may be made to The Susan G. Komen Foundation, at ww5. komen.org.
