Silvia Ferres

Silvia "Nona" Ferres, 82, of Pasadena died on September 28, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Silvia was born in 1929 in Trieste, Italy. She worked for 15 years at Maryland Paper Box. Silvia was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose and volunteered at Genesis Elder Care on Hammonds Ferry Road. She enjoyed playing poker, going to the casino, knitting, bingo and going to her grandkids sporting events. Silvia donated her life to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Lynn Ferres. She is survived by five children, Walter Ferres and his wife Lorraine, Barbara Barath and her husband Larry, Donna Ferres and significant other Roxann, Debra Butcher, and Glenn Ferres and his wife Rosa; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
