Singleton Williams

April 5, 1925 — February 12, 2013

Singleton "Sing" Williams, 87, of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 12, 2013. Sing was born in 1925 in Brooklyn, MD. He served in the US Army Air Corp from 1943-1946, where he served his country in Guam. Sing worked as a Technical Supervisor at Westinghouse for over 30 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a Boy Scout Master for Troop 517, and was a very active member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. Sing enjoyed working with his hands, gardening, camping. fishing, and helping others in the community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellamae J. Williams. He is survived by two children, Sheryl Archie and husband Keith, and Michael G. Williams and wife Lynn; three grandchildren, Krystal Archie, Kristin Williams, and Brandon Williams and wife Fay; a sister, Alma Dalton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
