Stanley Schaffle

On September 1, 2009, Stanley Philip Schaffle, of Linthicum Heights, died at Genesis Eldercare on Hammonds Lane after a nine year illness. For the past 48 years, he owned Schaffle's Inc., a trucking firm in Linthiucm. He also co-owned M&S Bus Lines, Inc. for 10 years, and MGK Ltd., Inc. for 10 years. His interests in life were working with his business, boating, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Elmer Schaffle, and siblings, Albert, Andrew, Leonard Sass, Sr., and Madeline Sass. Stanley is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Frances Schaffle; two daughters, Gloria Schreiber and Lisa Ehalt; one son, Kenneth Schaffle; four grandchildren, Krystal Cummings, Jessica Brown, William Smith, Sr., and Ashley Garrison; two great-grand sons, Domenyk Philip Schaffle Cruz and Nicholas Jay Robinson; one sister, Marie Blottenberger. Stanley is also survived by many extended family and friends.
