Stanley Westendorf

December 2, 1939 — April 25, 2011

Stanley F. Westendorf, 71, of Linthicum passed away on April 25, 2011 at his home after a five week battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Kurt and Irene Westendorf and was raised in Gooding, Idaho. Stan joined the Navy after graduating from High School and was eventually stationed at NSA in Fort Meade, MD. He had a stellar career with NSA and after retirement returned there as a Consultant. He worked there until five weeks before his death. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Elizabeth, and seven children, three natural and four step-children. He always considered all the children as his Family. They are Stan, Jr. (Butch), Becky, Polly, Paul, Cathy, Doug and Beth. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. One more is due to arrive shortly. He also loved his poodles and took them almost everywhere he went.
