On January 7, 2011, STELLA TERESA CALVERT; devoted wife of the late Frederick Calvert; devoted mother of Judith Bona (husband Louis Bona, Sr.); loving grandmother of Louis Bona, Jr. (wife Kitty), Jim Bona, and Kim Wancowicz (husband Lou); beloved great-grandmother of Krystle Molite (husband Nick), Ashley Wancowicz, Mark Giordani, and Greg Giordani (wife Vivian) and cherished great-great-grandmother of 5.
Stella was born in Baltimore to Maryanna & Jan Soltynski and was a crane operator at Sparrows Point during WWII to assist in the war effort. Later on in life, she became a meat wrapper for Food Fair/Pantry Pride. Stella was a member of the Pascal Senior Center in Glen Burnie, the "Go-Getters", and she was a eucharistic minister and member of the Women's Club at St. Bernadette's Church. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, sewing, dancing, and earlier in life she enjoyed raising Persian cats and judging cat shows.
