Stephen Elgert, 44, of Anne Arundel County, sadly passed away at his home on February 26, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was born on October 2, 1968 in Laurel, MD. He attended Old Mill High School and afterwards joined the Army Reserves. After proudly serving his country, he was employed as a truck driver and worked for various companies, lastly of which was HBO Productions. Stephen had many hobbies including: classic muscle cars, going to car shows, shooting pool, working out, listening to R&B music and occasional family get-togethers; but his greatest joy was spending time with his sons, taking them fishing every summer and coaching and supporting their baseball teams. Stephen will be greatly missed by everyone in his life. He may be gone, but surely not forgotten. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Lloyd, Joey and Hunter; one granddaughter, Aubree; father and stepmother, Chip and Barbara; mother and stepfather, Adele and David; half-siblings, Stephanie and Kenny; brother-in-law, Ben; niece, Abby; nephew, Owen; and one aunt, Dianne. He is also survived by numerous extended relatives and friends.
