Susan Marie Jones

            On Friday, December 15, 2023, Susan Marie Jones of Flintstone, MD and Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully with family by her side. Beloved wife of James E. Jones, loving mother of Scott E. Jones and his wife La’Kina. Grandmom of Mason and Abbigail. She is also survived by her sisters; Louise Pence and Mary Lacy. When Susan wasn’t spoiling her grandchildren she enjoyed traveling with her husband and gardening. Along the years she became known as Mom-mom to so many of her grandchildren’s friends and her passing has left an empty space in each of their hearts. She will never know the impact she had on the people in her life. Her sense of humor was something that will continue to bring laughter to the people she loved.

            Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2^nd Avenue, SW ( at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm where a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December  28, 2023 at 10:00 am. Committal Service and Interment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. If desired, Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
