Susan Laning

Susan Patricia Laning, 74, of Glen Burnie passed away on December 2, 2020. Susan was born on December 31, 1945 in Leicester, England to the late Edward and Janet Lynch. She was a former teacher for Prince George’s County Public Schools and later became a library page for Anne Arundel County Public Library in Glen Burnie. She was an active member of both St. Bernadette Catholic Church and St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. She served on the money counting team at St. Bernadette’s and was part of the Lunch Bunch at St. Alban’s.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert Laning; her devoted children, James Laning (Katie), Jennifer Grismore (Carl) and Stephanie King (Martin); her four loving grandchildren, Kristiana and Timothy “TJ” Laning, Braeden and Kiernan King; her dear siblings, Elizabeth Gillette, June Hencke (Tom) and Mark Lynch (Judy French).
