On October 28, 2008, Terrence Daugherty Boles of Glen Burnie, Maryland. Beloved husband of Anna Jane Boles for 64 years, loving son of the late Roy and Katie Boles; loving father to Linda Lind, Barbara Rogers and Timothy Boles, loving grandfather to Mike Lind and Melissa Ellwood, Lara Aulestia and Amy Rogers, and Bridget, Olivia, and Tyler Boles; great-grandfather to Alex and Erin Ellwood, and Lindsey Atkinson; fond brother of Henry Jackson Boles, Roy Claude Boles, Katie Sanders, Shirley White and the late Betty Schaffer. Terry was born in Princeton, West Virginia in 1923. In 1942, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he met and married Anna Jane in 1944. He made a career of car making for the General Motors Corporation Plant on Broening Highway in Baltimore, Maryland, first working for Fisher Body and later for Chevrolet. He enjoyed country music, working on cars and later picked up the hobby of woodworking. He retired from General Motors in 1986 after working there for 40 years. After retiring, he and Jane became very active in Brooklyn United Methodist Church where they helped with transporting food from food banks to volunteers who in turn prepared meals for the needy. Terry was a devoted family man and shared much of his time with his family centered mostly in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. He was especially fond of annual 4th of July Boles family re-unions in Princeton, West Virginia and weekend gatherings with his wife's family.
