On September 6, 2016, Theresa M. Salatti (nee Demma), 90, beloved wife of the late Leonard Salatti, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in 1944. She had the grades and ambition to attend college, as well as the athletic talent to be recruited to play for a Women's Professional Softball League. She chose, instead, to enter the workforce, giving every paycheck to her father to help support her younger brother and sisters. She married in 1948 and began her family, before moving to Maryland in 1952, when her late husband joined the US Army Field Band. She would remain in Maryland for the rest of her life, though she always cherished her Brooklyn roots.
Theresa is survived by 4 children, Nicholas (fiancée Peggy), Pietro (Maria), Lisa, and Maria (Gerard); 8 grandchildren, Stephanie (Troy), Regina (Anthony), Nicholas, Alessandra, Julia, Erin (Shawn), Kevin (Angela), and Cara; 10 great grandchildren; her beloved siblings, Grace, Rose (Gaetano), Judy (John) and Michael (Ann); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 13, at 10am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
