Mr. Thomas L. Ingram, 92, of Glen burnie, MD passed away on March 28, 2010 at Kris-Leigh Assisted Living Center in Severna Park. Mr. Ingram was born in Kentucky in 1917 to the late James Hilary Ingram and Annie Ingram. He was in the US Army from 1940-1945 where he received the EAME heater ribbon with 2 bronze stars and the Good Conduct Medal. Thomas worked for Social Security Administration until he retired. He was a volunteer with numerous organizations including Partners in Care, NARFE, Disabled American Veterans and also did deliveries for Meals on Wheels until the age of 91. His hobbies included making his own maple syrup, participating in the Ferndale Community Center, cooking, and canning. He also enjoyed the outdoor activities like gardening and hunting. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia R. Ingram; loving grandfather of Kelly Freburger; devoted father of the late Cartha Jo Freburger and Kathy Ingram; dear brother of the late Willie Mae Lilliard, Grace Dearing, Joe Wilson Ingram, Anne Barnes, James Hilary Ingram, Jr., Tabitha McClary and Eunice Shmalz.
