Thomas Mathers

On September 20, 2013 Thomas Walter Mathers , 85, of Glen Burnie died at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a long struggle with his illness. Tom was born in, Maryland on June 15, 1928 he served his country well in the US Army. He retired from Westinghouse as a painter in 1992. Tom was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Linthicum . His hobbies included raising pigeons, fixing lawnmowers, painting, cooking, and all animals. He did get most of his pleasure by taking care of his beautiful wife Katherine.

He is survived by his beloved wife, of 64 years Katherine Mathers, his loving son, Thomas Mathers and granddaughter, June Smith. Fond sister, Ruth Perry, devoted niece, Donna Marie Bullen, caring great-grandson's, Zackery Cochran, Joshua and Shawn Smith. He was preceded in death by his son, William Franklin Mathers and his parents Walter and Eleanor Mathers.
