Thomas Gerard Scally, 80, a longtime resident of Linthicum, died on March 29, 2012 at his home. Tom was born on February 12, 1932 in Baltimore. He served in the United States Army for two years. He was employed with Shell Oil Company for over 20 years and retired as a driver salesman. He was a member of Knights of Columbus- Our Lady of Good Council Chapter, TOGOM Social Club and St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Tom enjoyed social gatherings, dancing, watching sports, especially baseball and football, traveling to Ocean City, taking cruises and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet; four children, Terrie Clements and husband Jim, Thomas K. Scally and wife Sylvia, Michael J. Scally and Kathleen A. Beck and husband David; six grandchildren, Jimmy Clements and wife Onia, Alanna Clements, Jon Clements, Lauren Scally, Rudy and Sydney Beck; and two great-grandchildren, Lee Anne and Kyle Clements.
