Thuryle Mckewin

Thuryle "Virginia" McKewin, 92, a resident of Anne Arundel County since 1964, passed away on October 31, 2013. She was born in Millstone, MD on October 22, 1921 to the late Marsillus and Pauline Hawk. She was employed as a secretary for the Social Security Administration from 1964-1989. Virginia enjoyed playing bingo and slots and also traveling to Atlantic City. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William "Bill" McKewin; and two sons, Glen and Phillip McKewin. She is survived by her two nephews, Ronald E. Jenkins and wife Diana and Gregory Jenkins; three great-nieces, Dana Jenkins, Deborah Long and husband Rob and Pamela Gottschalk and husband Duane and their children.
