Ursula Hentz Varner, 93, of Linthicum passed away on June 12, 2021. She was born on January 21, 1928 in Baltimore to the late James E. and Helen M. Hentz. Ursula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren J. Varner. She is survived by her seven children, Colin Varner (Marilyn), Beth Ziegenhein (Bill), Fran Jurney (Jeff), Gerard Varner (Sherry), Mark Varner, Dee Warfield and Paul Varner (Lisa). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, James E. Schroder and Jerome J. Hentz, and her son-in-law, Mark Warfield. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, church activities and bible study.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, June 16th from 5-7 pm and Thursday, June 17th from 10-11 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Church, Linthicum on Thursday, June 17th at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at New Cathedral Cemetery.
