On March 17, 2016, Mrs. Verena V. Linthicum, passed away at the Brightview Rolling Hills assisted living residences in Catonsville, MD. Mrs. Linthicum was born on September 13, 1934 in Yankton, South Dakota, to Edward and Regina Voll. She received an Associates' Degree in Education from St. Johns College in Kansas. Verena served as a Teacher at St. John's Christian Day School in Glen Burnie and St. John's School in Brooklyn, and as a Receptionist at Scarlett and Croll Law Firm in Baltimore, MD, and volunteered as a Docent at the White House during the 1980's. Mrs. Linthicum belonged to the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, and the Performing Arts Assoc. of Linthicum (PAAL). She was also very instrumental in the creation of the Linthicum Veterans Memorial Park.
Mrs. Linthicum was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Charles Milton Linthicum. She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Linthicum, Sr. and his wife Missy, and Rev. James D. Linthicum, and her grandchildren, Katy, Lauren, Bridget, and Robby.
