Verena Mitchell

Verena F. Mitchell, 70, a resident of Millersville, passed away on May 11, 2013 at Lorien Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Columbia. Verena was born on March 25, 1943 in St. Lucia and she worked in customer service at a bank in New York for 25 years. She loved to cook, bake, and decorate cakes. Verena was a member of the St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Severn.
Verena is survived by her loving children, Jackie Atkinson, Valerie Mitchell, and Kevin Mitchell; her cherished grandchildren, Shante Atkinson, Deja Atkinson, Kamden Mitchell, and Kevon Mitchell; her beloved sister, Veronica Gray; her dear nephews, Victor Gray and Najja Gray; her special friend, Delphin Miller; and also survived by a host of cousins and other relatives.
