Vernell Wells

Vernell Wells, 91, of Stevensville, passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center on February 8, 2018. She was born in Pound, VA to the late Ira and Melissa Austin. Nell worked as a cashier at A&P Grocery Store in Baltimore and retired after many years of service. Nell and her late companion, Vernon, enjoyed dancing and were active at the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge. She also enjoyed gardening and yardwork. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Vernon Snow; daughter, Barbara Taylor; and her four siblings.
Nell is survived by her stepdaughters, Kathy Snow Foster and Gail Lee Snow; and her nephew, Tim Snow.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Thursday, Feb. 15th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 8 PM. There will be no services held on Friday. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
