Vernon Hagedorn

Vernon John Hagedorn "Bunk", 86, passed away on May 30, 2016. He was born in Glen Burnie to the late Henry and Marie Hagedorn. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1948 and worked as a career carpenter. He retired from Westinghouse after being employed there for many years. He was a member of Popular Ridge Senior Club and Young at Heart Seniors. He enjoyed word puzzles, wood crafts, cruising, whittling and artist painting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry and Carl Hagedorn.
He is survived by his wife of 61 ½ years, Margaret "Peggy" Hagedorn; two sons, Barry Hagedorn and his wife Robyn, and Scott Hagedorn; two grandchildren, Joshua and Kara Hagedorn; and sister, Ruth Eszes.
