Vernon Snyder, Sr.

Vernon George Snyder, Sr., 86, a lifelong resident of Linthicum, passed away on November 30, 2022. He was born in Baltimore to the late George Vernon and Elizabeth Mary Snyder. Vernon is the proud owner and operator of Snyder's Willow Grove. He was an avid gardener, growing many beautiful flowers, building bird houses and was especially known for his Christmas decorations. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Snyder.

Vernon is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Helen V. Snyder; loving children, Kimberly M. Boswell and Vernon G. Snyder, Jr.; cherished grandchildren, Alex Boswell and Samantha Knight; and dear brothers, Ellsworth and Robert Snyder.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 Second Avenue, SW, (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm and Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Road, Linthicum, MD 21090 at 11:00 am. His Entombment will be held privately at Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
