Vernon Stinchcomb

On Friday, October 6, 2006, Vernon Jefferson Stinchcomb passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Katie Stinchcomb. Vernon is survived by his beloved children, Dorothy Lawson, Bill Shipley, Barbara Mervine, William Kinsey, Chuck Kinsey, Sharon Hayes, and Michele Garber. He is also survived by 14 loving grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Vernon was also predeceased by his dear siblings, Joseph Stinchcomb and Katherine Meyer.
Vernon was in the Marine Corps during World War II and was a machinest at the W.R. Grace Company in Curtis Bay for 44 years. He enjoyed the Orioles, baseball, football, and watching TV.
