Veronica J. Rhea, 88, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on February 26, 2021. She was born, one of 12, in Jenner Township, PA to the late John and Josephine (Keck) Jodlowsky. She worked as a secretary for Christ the King Catholic Church (formerly Holy Trinity) for thirty years. Veronica was an avid reader and devout member of Christ the King Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, nine sisters and her husband, Harry.
Veronica is survived by her loving children, Kevin D. Rhea (Eva), Page Ann Rhea and Mark B. Rhea (Denise); four cherished grandchildren; six beloved great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy “Aunt Tootsie” Smith; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Weds., March 3rd, from 9 AM – 10:30 AM. A mass of Christian burial will immediately follow at 11:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church (formerly Holy Trinity). Interment MD Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Christ the King Catholic Church, 126 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 50 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors. We kindly ask that you please keep your visit brief, as there may be people waiting to enter the funeral home.
