Veyonna Preston

On September 19, 2017, Veyonna Darlene Preston, 59, of Millersville, Maryland, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Veyonna was born on April 10, 1958, to Lula and Howell Burnopp, Sr. She was an avid horse woman. She grew up on the farm and enjoyed teaching, riding lessons, attending and working at the horse farm auction, and helping with her and her husband's hay and straw business. She was devoted to the Lord, and loved studying his word and bringing others closer to Him. She had a gift for meeting new people and making them feel like "old friends."
Veyonna was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Howell Burnopp, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Peter M. Preston, Jr.; her son, Peter Preston, III and his wife, Monica Preston; her grandson, Garrett Preston; her brother, Jacob Burnopp and sister-in-law, Shirley Burnopp; and her brother William Burnopp, and his wife, Lauran Burnopp.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Sunday, September 24th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, September 25th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Veyonna's name may be made to JDM Ministries, 1973 Ormand Blvd., Destrehan, LA 70047.
