Vicki Lynn Lavinder

Vicki Lavinder, beloved mother, daughter, and sibling, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Vicki is predeceased by her father and mother, Donald and Clare. She is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda Potter. Vicki was a devoted and caring mother who took great pride in her daughter and her daughter’s life and accomplishments.

She is also survived by her siblings: Jeff, Laurie, Mark and his wife Cathy, Julie, and Krista and her husband Nick. Vicki shared a special bond with each of her siblings' children and relied on those relationships with her nieces and nephews as a source of strength and support throughout her life.

Vicki loved being surrounded by people and flourished in a long career of bartending. She had an outgoing nature, smart sense of humor and was kind, sensitive and thoughtful. Her absence will be deeply felt by her family and the community of friends she has built over a lifetime in the Glen Burnie area.

A visitation to celebrate Vicki's life will be held at Singleton Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. The interment will be private at Glen Haven Memorial Park. If you would like to send something, her daughter requests flower arrangements in shades of lavender, green or flowering plants that can be planted or that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Vicki's memory.

Vicki will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.
