Viola Katherine Brooks, 87, of Glen Burnie passed away on March 11, 2018. Katherine was born on April 7, 1930 to the late James and Gertrude Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Brooks; her siblings, Argent C. Jackson, Helen Brooks and Beulah Fossett. Katherine is survived by her sisters, Mae Hardy, Evelyn Smith and Betty Young. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Katherine enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling, shopping and BINGO.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, March 15th from 5-7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church on Friday at 11 AM with a viewing from 10-11 am the funeral hour. Interment at Saint's Rest Cemetery, Saturday at 10 AM.
