Virginia "Doodles" Carter, 80, of the Severn and Glen Burnie areas for the past 30 years, passed away on April 23, 2012. Virginia was born in 1931 in Purcellville, VA. She was a member of The Wilderness Chapel. Virginia was known for her culinary expertise. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she loved her church. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert L. Carter; two sons, Stephen L. Richards and wife Judi, and Bruce A. Richards and wife Sue; brother, Earl Owens; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
