Virginia Lee Ensenat, 88, of Severna Park, Maryland, passed away on October 28, 2021. Virginia was born in Pound, Virginia, on June 13, 1933, to the late Robert E. and Laura E. Edwards. A devout Christian, she enjoyed singing and playing the piano.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was predeceased by her devoted husband of 60 years, Salvatore G. Ensenat and her dear siblings, Minnie Cox, Mamie Tompkins, Lessie Stallard Collins, Lloyd Edwards, Martha Ryhme, Ryth Mullins, Verlin Edwards, Dorcas Meade, Hassel Edwards, Agnes Helmick North, Cynthia Tompkins, and Ella Mae Stallard. She is survived by her loving sons, George N. Ensenat and Ronald B. Ensenat and his wife Cindy; her cherished granddaughter, Sarah M. Ensenat (Sean Kraus); and her beloved sister, Josephine Alderman.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, November 2nd, from 2-4 & 6 - 8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd, at 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Virginia’s name may be made to Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute by visiting peabody.jhu.edu
