Virginia Foca

Virginia Mae Foca, 91, a resident of Linthicum for 54 years, passed away on July 2, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born on August 3, 1921 in West Virginia to the late Lantie and Nellie O'Neal. She graduated from Trapp Hill High School and completed her nursing training in Welch, West Virginia. When she and Ross married in 1945, they moved to Baltimore where she worked as a Registered Nurse at University of Maryland and retired after many years of service. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, having dinner with the nurses and family Sunday dinners. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ross Foca. She is survived by her two sons, Dominic Foca and wife Connie and Joe Foca and wife JoAnn; five grandchildren, Ross and wife Wendy, Nicholas and wife Brenda, Heather, Tony and wife Tammy and Joe and wife Melissa; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Georgia Daniel.
