Virginia L. Wassell, 85, of Severn, passed away on December 1, 2016. She was born on January 11, 1931 in Springfield, Illinois to the late John and Virginia Dockery. Virginia was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 276 in Severn, MD. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, sewing, and gardening, in her younger years she liked to go camping.
Virginia was preceded in death by husband, Charles Wassell; her daughter, Patricia Wassell; her siblings, John and William Dockery and Diane Morelle.
She is survived by her children, Brenda McCulley, Steven Wassell and Sheree Gray; her brother, Jimmy Dockery. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 276, (8068 Quarterfield Rd., Severn, MD 21144) or to a charity of your choice.
