Walter Parker

On July 11, 2009, Walter James "Jim" Parker, a resident of Glen Burnie for 45 years, passed on after his courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 58 years to Joan; loving father of Sherry Linda Carpenter; dear brother of Flora Mae Detrick, John Parker, and Margaret Couto; cherished grandfather of Mark Carpenter and Kristin Williams; devoted great-grandfather of Jacob and Landon Williams. Jim worked at Stewart Sandwiches as a supervisor for 40 years. He has been a long time member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Jim greatly enjoyed traveling, Ocean City, hunting, and loved his family.
