Walter Uzialko

On January 12, Walter Uzialko of Baltimore passed away at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore from a brief battle with cancer. He was the loving husband to Virginia Uzialko for 52 years; devoted father to Pat Richter, Marge Loyd and June Lewis; caring brother to Stanley and Paul Uzialko and Irene Ferraro; loving grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 9.
In his younger years, Mr. Uzialko worked in the coal mines of Pennsylvania, but ended up retiring as a machinist in 1993. He was a proud member of the Air Force from 1947 -1950 in which he was a morse code operator.
Walter was the treasurer and past president of th Roland Terrace Democratic Club in Brooklyn Park, Maryland and the Eagles Club - Baltimore Past President. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, playing cards, fishing, football, baseball and loved his BEER! Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by many.
