Walter Wheatley

On Monday, July 23, 2007, Walter Vance "Basil" Wheatley passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. He is survived by his cherished wife of 51 years, Mae Wheatley. Basil is also survived by his loving son, Guy Wheatley, his wife Tammy, and his beloved grandchildren, Kayla and Nathan Wheatley. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Edward and John Wheatley and Mary Higdon. Basil was predeceased by his son Walter Wheatley Jr., and brothers Amos and Robert Wheatley.
Basil was born in Baltimore and was a corporal in the United States Army from 1952-1954. He was a truck driver for the Delivery of Baltimore Company as well as BGE and he also enjoyed fishing.
