Wanda Porter

Wanda M. Porter, 89, of Linthicum passed away on February 25, 2021. She was born on August 20, 1931 in Lewistown, PA. Wanda retired as a Supervisor at Sheppard Pratt after 32 years of service. She enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the pool or just going out, riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle and spending time with her grandson. Wanda was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Porter and Bill Derr; her son-in-law, Joel Gilkerson; and her step-son, James Weader. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Gilkerson; her grandson, Joel Gilkerson; her step-son, Rusty Ames (Marsha); and her step-daughter, Aileen Havice; and six step-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday from 5-7 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 4 pm.
