Wilbur Moyer

On January 28, 2007, Wilbur "Will" L. Moyer passed away at the age of 72. Beloved husband of 53 years to Marie Moyer (nee Pellerin); Devoted father of William J. Moyer, John A. Moyer, Karen M. Waclawski, Sharon D. Morse, James H. Moyer, Kathy A. Goralski and Pamela S. Wheeler; Loving brother of Charles Moyer, Mary Debus, Louise Moyer and the late Lloyd Moyer Jr., Alice Jutrice and Frances Knaub; Adoring grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 10. He was pre-deceased by his cherished grandson, Jason J. Moyer. Will lived in Glen Burnie since 1963. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40, the V.F.W. and the Knights of Columbus. Will worked for the Baltimore County Fire Department for 26 years before retiring as a Lieutenant. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was fishing, crabbing or camping. He was a generous man and enjoyed doing for others. What would always put a smile on his face though, was spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Will had a love of life and his loss will be deeply felt.
