Willard Nieswander Jr

Willard "Pa Pa" Nieswander, Jr., 86, of Millersville, formerly of Harrisonburg, Virginia, passed away at his home on September 8, 2014. He was born on May 25, 1928 to the late Elsie and Willard M. Nieswander, Sr. He was a Korean War veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1950-1952. Will retired from Eastern Airlines in 1988 and was a lifelong member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Antioch United Church of Christ in Virginia. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching golf and baseball, especially the Nationals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold Nieswander, Betty Harper and Georgia Nieswander.
Will is survived by his daughter, Linda W. Baxter and her husband Craig; four grandchildren, Sheri Sutton and her husband Kevin, Robert Spares and his wife Natalie, Ryan Baxter and his wife Nadia and Morgan Baxter and her fiancé, Matt; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen McWilliams, Faye Morris and Goldie Sampson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
