On Saturday, September 16, 2023, William “Bill” Philip Aaron of Curtis Bay, MD passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side. Bill was born in Baltimore City to the late Joseph B. and Margaret J. Aaron. Beloved husband of 28 years to the late Marie Aaron; loving brother of Bob Aaron, Thomas Aaron, Sr. and his wife, Gail, Priscilla Aaron Snodgrass and her husband, Doug; and dear uncle of Rachel J. Smith and her husband, Daryl, Philip Aaron, Felicia Aaron-White, Lysandra Carter-Aaron, Kerry Brandon, Lee Aaron-Snodgrass, Janessa L. Pierce and Tom Aaron, Jr. Bill is also survived by his devoted friend, Nafeesa Butt, whom he considered a daughter.
Bill graduated from Mount Saint Joseph High School and is a Navy veteran. He was a chef in the Navy and especially enjoyed marinating and cooking bison in the last several years. He was a big fan of the Ravens. He loved tending to his rose garden and he was a member of the Chesapeake Jeep Club. He enjoyed participating in many charitable activities with CJC and was a dedicated friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ( at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, on Sunday, October 1st, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. Committal Service and Interment will be held at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032 on Monday, October 2nd, at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the Leukemia Society.
