William Doegen, Jr

On February 5, 2008, William Charles 'Bill' Doegen, Jr. passed on. Bill was a devoted husband of 18 years to Kathleen Doegen; a dear father of Nathaniel Doegen; the loving stepfather of Christopher Case, and his wife Jennifer, and Steven Case; a devoted grandfather of four; the loving son of William C. Doegen, Sr. and the late Marian Doegen; a dear stepson of Twila Doegen; a loving brother of Timothy Doegen; and a dear step-brother to Dawn Jones. Bill was a native of Maryland. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1945. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1963. He then studied at the University of Baltimore where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. During his career, Bill was an Assistant Manager at K-Mart in North Plaza on Perring Parkway. He was a lifelong fan of sports in Maryland. He enjoyed playing golf. He especially loved following his son's band's tours. Bill was a good man who will be missed by many.
