William (Bill-Will-Billy) Horace Herold, 67 of Linthicum Heights, MD, passed away November 24, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family after a strong fight with Pancreatic Cancer. Bill was born on August 25, 1954, in Edgewood, MD. “Billy” was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Herold & Everett Herold and special brother in law Arthur Weaver Sr.
Bill is survived by his loving and caring wife, Carol Herold of 46 years. They enjoyed riding together on Bill’s many Harley Davidson Motorcycles he had through many states and meeting up with their “71” Nite Train Club friends from all over the US & Canada. Bill also enjoyed “Cruisin” with the top down to Ocean City, MD, in his “63” Corvette with his loving wife.
Amy Herold, his loving daughter, will cherish her memories forever along with her fiancé, Rick. Bill has two VERY special granddaughters to him, Courtney and Kayla, whom will also hold Bill close to their hearts.
“Will” has a beloved sister, Karin Weaver, and brother, Howard Herold, whom will always continue to cherish those wonderful childhood memories.
Also surviving is a special Godson, Arthur Weaver Jr. wife Michele, & Goddaughter, Gracie Weaver.
Sister-in-law Roni Herold, Sister and Brother-in-law, Cecilia & Harry Thiel. Niece and great nieces, Debbie, Julia, and Anna Musolino, and nephew, Tom Black. Bill spent a lot of time making memories with his family and loving friends that will forever be cherished by all.
Bill retired in 2016, from Giant Food Inc. where he proudly worked for 36 years. A long time member of Harley Owners Group and member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America #3016.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, December 2nd, from 2-4 & 6 - 8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 3rd, at 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. Family Requests in Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Tate Cancer Center, or Hospice of Chesapeake in memory of William Herold.
