William Mcnamara Sr

William "Bill" McNamara Sr., 75, of Glen Burnie, passed away on September 20, 2017. He was born in Baltimore to the late William C. and Virginia G. McNamara. He enjoyed helping others, gardening, fixing things, fishing and crabbing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, William Kory Seman; and sister, Linda Shingler.

He is survived by his children, William R. McNamara Jr. (Dina), Pamela Seman (George), Candice McNamara and John McNamara (Kim); grandchildren, Georgie and Chelsey Seman, Ashley Hicks, Angelina and Mindy McNamara, John, Hannah, Logan and Mason McNamara; great-granddaughter, Blair Seman; sister, Patricia Rooks (Ted); niece, Megan Rooks and her son, Reggie; brother-in-law, George Shingler. Bill is also survived by his girlfriend, Janet Knicely and longtime companion and friend, Frances Landry.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, Oct. 1st, from 1 - 4PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following at 4 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel.
