William Meyer, Sr

On Friday, May 16, 2008, William John Meyer, Sr. passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD. William is survived by his cherished wife of over 56 years, Helen M. Meyer (Imler). He is also survived by his loving son, William Meyer Jr., his beloved grandchildren, William Meyer III, Rachael Meyer, Nicholas O'Neill and one great-grandchild Noah Meyer. William is the dear brother of Harry Meyer.
William was born in Baltimore to Elizabeth and John E. Meyers. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1948 and then became an electrical engineer and mechanical draftsman for 38 years at Westinghouse. William was a member of the American Legion Post 20 and enjoyed playing softball, fishing, gardening, home improvements, golfing and camping.
