William Alan Moody, 59, of Glen Burnie passed away on September 27, 2014. Alan was born on April 11, 1955 in Oak Harbor, WA. He served in the US Army as an Image Interpreter and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. He completed his BS degree from New York University while still in the Army. After his discharge from the Army he worked at the Pentagon with the Defense Intelligence Agency and at NSA with NIMA and NGR. Alan loved the Pacific Northwest with its mountains and beaches. He was a proud Seahawk fan and his "man cave" is decorated in Seahawk colors, pictures and decals.
Alan is the beloved husband, of 36 years to Linda (Brown) Moody; devoted father of Laura Moody-Sisk and Jennifer Tippett; dear son of Denman & Nancy Moody; loving brother of Alex (Sandy) Moody and Andy Moody. He was Grandpa "Pop" to Gabriel Sisk, Laina Buckmaster, Eli Buckmaster and Lilly Tippett. He was also a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.
