William Prather

William Roy Prather, 89, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away on November 4, 2015. He was born in St. Louis, MO on December 28, 1925 to the late Norman and Ruth Prather. He served in the United States Navy and was a long time member of St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church and VFW Post 160 Glen Burnie. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles, Colts and the Ravens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Prather; and three siblings, Bob Prather, Richard Prather and Fran Randolph.
William is survived by his five children, Larry W. Prather and wife Donna, Sharon P. Farber and husband Russell, Brett A. Prather and wife Kim, D. Malia Eichelberger and husband Brian, Bill(y) R. Prather and wife Jen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Russ Prather, Joy Givens and Sue Marks.
